Summers almost over....

I can't believe that Cole starts school again next week!!  Where has the summer gone?  We were talking about this last night at dinner and we feel like the summer has been just as busy as the school year.  Between VBS, my finger surgery, flying to Oklahoma for a new truck, Cody's Birthday and him learning to swim, our CA trip and Camping this summer has flown by.  With each passing event I come to realize more and more how quickly the months and years are flying by and our boys are growing up so fast!!  They aren't little anymore. :*(

My finger surgery.  2 large pieces of fiberglass removed and a few smaller pieces flushed.  It has healed remarkable well!! (I'll spare you the gory photos)

Bugs is swimming like a fish!! Both Wayne and I are in complete awe of how fast he picked it up! He does cannon balls, flips under water, etc... You'd never know he just started swimming without floaties 3-4 weeks ago!!!

This photo here is a VERY RARE occurance... This photo marks the first time I have actually swam in the ocean!!  I have never in my life actually gotten in past my knees.  So I had Cassie document this special occasion! LOL

Ultrasound Photo Updates

Ok, I turned the photos sideways so that it kinda looks like they are sitting up. (Seems to be the only way my mom can tell so I thought it might help others as well) We are just shy of 24 weeks.... Only about 12 weeks left to go WooHoo!! Wow some days it just feels like it is flying by!!! Guess I better get crackin on the room! We went for a check up today and I was telling the doc that I thought baby B was just kickin up a storm, but she informed me that it could actually be either one because both of their feet are right next to each other. Baby B is definitely the one cutting off my air supply though... sitting right under my breast bone it feels like!! Baby A is sitting farther down so my bladder gets hit with that one. LOL The first photo is Baby A (Shake) I thought it was a nice profile, we had another one of a wave (always seems to be doing that!) but it was a little blurry. Second photo is Baby B (Bake) sucking a thumb!

These might be difficult to understand but we wanted to share them anyway, they kinda look like little aliens right now. LOL Baby B (aka: Bake) was being very difficult today and did not want to be photographed much. Baby A (aka: Shake) was really liking the photos and we were able to see a lot more of him or her. Almost a week...

It has been almost a week since I said Goodbye... Last Saturday was probably the second hardest day of my life so far, it was the day that I had to say goodbye to my beautiful Neon of 13 1/2 years. My mind was and has been flooded with so many memories since that day.  I got Neon through the Guide Dog program to raise as a seeing eye dog.  He was special because they had brought him in from NY so that he would become a breeder with the CA program.  I remember the day I received the news that my puppy was here and I was getting a golden!  I arrived at the puppy ceramony Dec. 21, 1997 and fell in love for the first time in my life!!! Neon was only 8 weeks old when I got him.  He went everywhere with me... movies, restaurants, college, etc.. until he was 18 months old at which time I had to return him to the program (and I thought I would never see him again).  I received a call from the school about 6 months later letting me know that they were releasing Neon from the program because of
