Chloe girl

Sweet, Loyal, Loving, Protector... These are just a few words to describe our Chloe.  
It's hard to believe it has been a week... 1 full week without her in our lives.  Even with 2 other large dogs and 2 little boys in the house it still seems empty with her gone.  I think it hits me the hardest in the early mornings when I get up because she was always with me in those quiet hours, just her and I, drinking my coffee or packing lunches.  She was ALWAYS there!  
We have known for at least 6 months that she was sick.  She NEVER complained or showed to many outward signs that she was getting worse but we knew our time with her was limited.  She stayed strong right up to the end when she unexpectedly fell in the boys room last Sunday and had a seizure.  Her body just couldn't handle the cancer anymore... She ended up having numerous seizures throughout the day / night and we knew she was ready to go.  Last Monday morning Wayne helped me load her in the car then left with the boys while I took her to our vet.  She was so quiet, so tired.  She went so peacefully.  It was so hard to say goodbye!  She has been our only female and probably will be our only one.  She was a fierce protector of our family.  She went just about everywhere with us!! She loved the snow and the outdoors.  The last thing I told her was to go and be with her best friend Neon and play with our little girl McKenzie in Heaven and I know she is doing just that!!

These might be difficult to understand but we wanted to share them anyway, they kinda look like little aliens right now. Ultrasound Photo Updates

Ok, I turned the photos sideways so that it kinda looks like they are sitting up. (Seems to be the only way my mom can tell so I thought it might help others as well) We are just shy of 24 weeks.... Only about 12 weeks left to go WooHoo!! Wow some days it just feels like it is flying by!!! Guess I better get crackin on the room! We went for a check up today and I was telling the doc that I thought baby B was just kickin up a storm, but she informed me that it could actually be either one because both of their feet are right next to each other. Baby B is definitely the one cutting off my air supply though... sitting right under my breast bone it feels like!! Baby A is sitting farther down so my bladder gets hit with that one. LOL The first photo is Baby A (Shake) I thought it was a nice profile, we had another one of a wave (always seems to be doing that!) but it was a little blurry. Second photo is Baby B (Bake) sucking a thumb!

Almost a week...

It has been almost a week since I said Goodbye... Last Saturday was probably the second hardest day of my life so far, it was the day that I had to say goodbye to my beautiful Neon of 13 1/2 years. My mind was and has been flooded with so many memories since that day.  I got Neon through the Guide Dog program to raise as a seeing eye dog.  He was special because they had brought him in from NY so that he would become a breeder with the CA program.  I remember the day I received the news that my puppy was here and I was getting a golden!  I arrived at the puppy ceramony Dec. 21, 1997 and fell in love for the first time in my life!!! Neon was only 8 weeks old when I got him.  He went everywhere with me... movies, restaurants, college, etc.. until he was 18 months old at which time I had to return him to the program (and I thought I would never see him again).  I received a call from the school about 6 months later letting me know that they were releasing Neon from the program because of
