End of year blur


Wow the end of the year flew by in such a blur.  We started out the holidays by going up to Payson to cut down Christmas trees!  We went with Wayne's siblings and nieces and nephews.  A fun time was had by all.

We then took the rest of the weekend decorating our 2 trees!  The boys had so much fun!!!

The following weekend we went to look at Christmas lights at a resort Wayne used to work at in college.  We discovered their lights last year and have decided this will be our new tradition!

We had a craft night and made candy cane ornaments for the tree.






We had several cookie baking days!!

We went to a Christmas program at our church with Lori and the kids!!  It was soooo cold that night, which was a bummer because they had so many fun things to do outside.

We have gone up to Colorado every Dec. 26- Jan. 2 since I was very young.... Continuing the tradition with our boys.  We spent most of the time sledding and playing in the snow!!

These might be difficult to understand but we wanted to share them anyway, they kinda look like little aliens right now. Ultrasound Photo Updates

Ok, I turned the photos sideways so that it kinda looks like they are sitting up. (Seems to be the only way my mom can tell so I thought it might help others as well) We are just shy of 24 weeks.... Only about 12 weeks left to go WooHoo!! Wow some days it just feels like it is flying by!!! Guess I better get crackin on the room! We went for a check up today and I was telling the doc that I thought baby B was just kickin up a storm, but she informed me that it could actually be either one because both of their feet are right next to each other. Baby B is definitely the one cutting off my air supply though... sitting right under my breast bone it feels like!! Baby A is sitting farther down so my bladder gets hit with that one. LOL The first photo is Baby A (Shake) I thought it was a nice profile, we had another one of a wave (always seems to be doing that!) but it was a little blurry. Second photo is Baby B (Bake) sucking a thumb!

Almost a week...

It has been almost a week since I said Goodbye... Last Saturday was probably the second hardest day of my life so far, it was the day that I had to say goodbye to my beautiful Neon of 13 1/2 years. My mind was and has been flooded with so many memories since that day.  I got Neon through the Guide Dog program to raise as a seeing eye dog.  He was special because they had brought him in from NY so that he would become a breeder with the CA program.  I remember the day I received the news that my puppy was here and I was getting a golden!  I arrived at the puppy ceramony Dec. 21, 1997 and fell in love for the first time in my life!!! Neon was only 8 weeks old when I got him.  He went everywhere with me... movies, restaurants, college, etc.. until he was 18 months old at which time I had to return him to the program (and I thought I would never see him again).  I received a call from the school about 6 months later letting me know that they were releasing Neon from the program because of
