Visits and Trips and Trucks oh my

This past week my Uncle Larry came for a visit from Kansas.  He wanted to experience a different Fourth of July than he normal KS one.  We were glad that he joined us!  We had a great time with him on his visit!  The boys really enjoyed being with him. 
 
 Larry asked if we could go and visit Mckenzie.

Last month we decided to sell our truck as the miles were getting a little high and to be honest I just don't trust Ford's after a certain amount of mileage.  Both Wayne and I thought well it's in good working order lets sell it now before something expensive goes wrong on it.  So we have been looking for another truck.  We found a Toyota in TX and everything just fell into place.  Wayne flew out very early Saturday morning and bought the truck.  We are so thankful to all our family that was able to help us!!  It was a long drive 1040 miles but he finally made it home yesterday afternoon. Aside from some minor scratches I really like the truck!  Best part after all his driving Wayne said his back didn't hurt... That is a HUGE deal!!


 
Since daddy was gone and the kids were up pretty early we decided to go to Target and play around in there toy department for a while.

They were very excited to see Daddy come home!!  Jumped right in the pool!

Ultrasound Photo Updates

Ok, I turned the photos sideways so that it kinda looks like they are sitting up. (Seems to be the only way my mom can tell so I thought it might help others as well) We are just shy of 24 weeks.... Only about 12 weeks left to go WooHoo!! Wow some days it just feels like it is flying by!!! Guess I better get crackin on the room! We went for a check up today and I was telling the doc that I thought baby B was just kickin up a storm, but she informed me that it could actually be either one because both of their feet are right next to each other. Baby B is definitely the one cutting off my air supply though... sitting right under my breast bone it feels like!! Baby A is sitting farther down so my bladder gets hit with that one. LOL The first photo is Baby A (Shake) I thought it was a nice profile, we had another one of a wave (always seems to be doing that!) but it was a little blurry. Second photo is Baby B (Bake) sucking a thumb!

These might be difficult to understand but we wanted to share them anyway, they kinda look like little aliens right now. LOL Baby B (aka: Bake) was being very difficult today and did not want to be photographed much. Baby A (aka: Shake) was really liking the photos and we were able to see a lot more of him or her. Almost a week...

It has been almost a week since I said Goodbye... Last Saturday was probably the second hardest day of my life so far, it was the day that I had to say goodbye to my beautiful Neon of 13 1/2 years. My mind was and has been flooded with so many memories since that day.  I got Neon through the Guide Dog program to raise as a seeing eye dog.  He was special because they had brought him in from NY so that he would become a breeder with the CA program.  I remember the day I received the news that my puppy was here and I was getting a golden!  I arrived at the puppy ceramony Dec. 21, 1997 and fell in love for the first time in my life!!! Neon was only 8 weeks old when I got him.  He went everywhere with me... movies, restaurants, college, etc.. until he was 18 months old at which time I had to return him to the program (and I thought I would never see him again).  I received a call from the school about 6 months later letting me know that they were releasing Neon from the program because of
