9 month check up

Really?!  Is it really possible that this little guy is 9 months?!  Say it can't be so!!!!  You know everyone always tells you that it goes by sooo fast and they are absolutely right!  I mean in my heart it feels like I just left the hospital to take Mckenzie and Cole home... where did all the time go???  Life moves by way to fast... Wayne and I were just commenting on the fact that our 20 year reunion is going to be here soon.  We've been out of high school that long already!?!  Eeekkk  that means I'm ooooold!! 
Ok now that I have gotten a little bit of that out of my system I will continue on with our little guy.  We went in to see Dr. Engel Monday (we absolutely love her!!!)  She makes us feel like we are her only patients and she just loves Cole!  She always has so much patience with me while I ask my 500 questions.  During this trip Cole checked out in perfect health!  Well he does every time, but it makes me feel so good to know that he has never been sick (up until now).  He is eating great!!!  Even Dr. Engel seemed impressed with his eating!!  There has not been one thing that he refuses to eat.  Mind you he may make a little bit of a face at first when trying something new but then he forges ahead and eats it all.  I am having fun making all kinds of different baby food not to mention loving that I am saving TONS of money doing it.  Anyway back to Cole's visit.... He sat up all by himself while we were there!!!!  Yay!!!  Of course I was not fast enough with my camera to catch it, but Wayne was there so he got to see it too!  I have been working with him on learning this so maybe some of what I do with him in catching on.  Hahaha  I am teaching him sign language too so I am sure I will freak out when he actually "talks" back to me.  Although I was told not to expect anything until he is 12-15 months. 
Well here are Cole's stats:  Weight 16.8 lbs  Height: 28"
Dr. Engel said that he is right on the mark for his age (she still counts him at 8 months since he was early)
Can't wait to see what his next appointment brings. Eekk our next one is a year....

Ultrasound Photo Updates

Ok, I turned the photos sideways so that it kinda looks like they are sitting up. (Seems to be the only way my mom can tell so I thought it might help others as well) We are just shy of 24 weeks.... Only about 12 weeks left to go WooHoo!! Wow some days it just feels like it is flying by!!! Guess I better get crackin on the room! We went for a check up today and I was telling the doc that I thought baby B was just kickin up a storm, but she informed me that it could actually be either one because both of their feet are right next to each other. Baby B is definitely the one cutting off my air supply though... sitting right under my breast bone it feels like!! Baby A is sitting farther down so my bladder gets hit with that one. LOL The first photo is Baby A (Shake) I thought it was a nice profile, we had another one of a wave (always seems to be doing that!) but it was a little blurry. Second photo is Baby B (Bake) sucking a thumb!

.......Shake N Bake........

These might be difficult to understand but we wanted to share them anyway, they kinda look like little aliens right now. LOL Baby B (aka: Bake) was being very difficult today and did not want to be photographed much. Baby A (aka: Shake) was really liking the photos and we were able to see a lot more of him or her. Almost a week...

It has been almost a week since I said Goodbye... Last Saturday was probably the second hardest day of my life so far, it was the day that I had to say goodbye to my beautiful Neon of 13 1/2 years. My mind was and has been flooded with so many memories since that day.  I got Neon through the Guide Dog program to raise as a seeing eye dog.  He was special because they had brought him in from NY so that he would become a breeder with the CA program.  I remember the day I received the news that my puppy was here and I was getting a golden!  I arrived at the puppy ceramony Dec. 21, 1997 and fell in love for the first time in my life!!! Neon was only 8 weeks old when I got him.  He went everywhere with me... movies, restaurants, college, etc.. until he was 18 months old at which time I had to return him to the program (and I thought I would never see him again).  I received a call from the school about 6 months later letting me know that they were releasing Neon from the program because of
