Postions and Dates

So our children have moved again... originally they sat in my stomach one on top of the other with both their heads on the left then a few weeks ago they both flipped to have their heads on the right (although still top and bottom). Today we went for a visit and the ultrasound showed them side by side one on the right one on the left. Of course they couldn't both be easy so baby A is head down and baby B is head up (which explains a lot of the discomfort I have with breathing, I knew someone was hitting me!) So as of right now our doctor has scheduled a C-section for Dec. 1st. I am partly happy and partly not. I really would like to have them in December (always wanted december babies) but 5 weeks seems so far away!! I will pray that baby B flips to be head down so that we don't have to have the c-section because I really don't want that. But it will be what it will be!

So excited for my shower tomorrow!!! Can't wait to see everyone! :)

PS: they were moving so much we weren't able to get any good photos.

Oh my gosh Shawna, that really does sound so uncomfortable. Praying the next 5 weeks will fly by for you. So excited for your shower today...yeah! =)

Seriously, one baby is uncomfortable enough, I can't imagine having two in there! You look great Shawna and praying it goes by fast!

Ultrasound Photo Updates

Ok, I turned the photos sideways so that it kinda looks like they are sitting up. (Seems to be the only way my mom can tell so I thought it might help others as well) We are just shy of 24 weeks.... Only about 12 weeks left to go WooHoo!! Wow some days it just feels like it is flying by!!! Guess I better get crackin on the room! We went for a check up today and I was telling the doc that I thought baby B was just kickin up a storm, but she informed me that it could actually be either one because both of their feet are right next to each other. Baby B is definitely the one cutting off my air supply though... sitting right under my breast bone it feels like!! Baby A is sitting farther down so my bladder gets hit with that one. LOL The first photo is Baby A (Shake) I thought it was a nice profile, we had another one of a wave (always seems to be doing that!) but it was a little blurry. Second photo is Baby B (Bake) sucking a thumb!

.......Shake N Bake........

These might be difficult to understand but we wanted to share them anyway, they kinda look like little aliens right now. LOL Baby B (aka: Bake) was being very difficult today and did not want to be photographed much. Baby A (aka: Shake) was really liking the photos and we were able to see a lot more of him or her. Almost a week...

It has been almost a week since I said Goodbye... Last Saturday was probably the second hardest day of my life so far, it was the day that I had to say goodbye to my beautiful Neon of 13 1/2 years. My mind was and has been flooded with so many memories since that day.  I got Neon through the Guide Dog program to raise as a seeing eye dog.  He was special because they had brought him in from NY so that he would become a breeder with the CA program.  I remember the day I received the news that my puppy was here and I was getting a golden!  I arrived at the puppy ceramony Dec. 21, 1997 and fell in love for the first time in my life!!! Neon was only 8 weeks old when I got him.  He went everywhere with me... movies, restaurants, college, etc.. until he was 18 months old at which time I had to return him to the program (and I thought I would never see him again).  I received a call from the school about 6 months later letting me know that they were releasing Neon from the program because of
