Already Christmas time

Wow this year has flown by! I can't believe it is already Christmas time!!
This year Wayne and I decided to put up an artificial tree (mostly because I really wanted to put one up the day after Thanksgiving and a real one would die) We decided to wait a little bit before decorating because we wanted to see how much damage Hemi our kitten would do to the tree since this is his first Christmas.... Well he left the tree alone until the ornaments went on! To date he has knocked off and broken / hidden about 15 ornaments! I thought I would out smart him and decided to lock him up in the spare room at night so he couldn't attack the tree while we slept... well that didn't go so well, he decided to get back at me and literally came running out of the room right into the tree!!! So... I went out and bought plastic ornaments to put around the bottom half of the tree and it has helped a little. I think that he is still obsessed with breaking the glass ones though (Wayne woke up last night to tell me he thought he heard the sound of breaking glass and yep this morning there were 2 glass balls smashed on the floor) I guess I am going to have to think of other ways to out smart the cat!

Your tree is SO pretty! Aww.. I lef tyou another comment on my blog about Hershey.. and your kitty breaking the orniments! Too funny!.. its like a brand new toy! All they need is a tree, and they are happy! HAHA

Ultrasound Photo Updates

Ok, I turned the photos sideways so that it kinda looks like they are sitting up. (Seems to be the only way my mom can tell so I thought it might help others as well) We are just shy of 24 weeks.... Only about 12 weeks left to go WooHoo!! Wow some days it just feels like it is flying by!!! Guess I better get crackin on the room! We went for a check up today and I was telling the doc that I thought baby B was just kickin up a storm, but she informed me that it could actually be either one because both of their feet are right next to each other. Baby B is definitely the one cutting off my air supply though... sitting right under my breast bone it feels like!! Baby A is sitting farther down so my bladder gets hit with that one. LOL The first photo is Baby A (Shake) I thought it was a nice profile, we had another one of a wave (always seems to be doing that!) but it was a little blurry. Second photo is Baby B (Bake) sucking a thumb!

.......Shake N Bake........

These might be difficult to understand but we wanted to share them anyway, they kinda look like little aliens right now. LOL Baby B (aka: Bake) was being very difficult today and did not want to be photographed much. Baby A (aka: Shake) was really liking the photos and we were able to see a lot more of him or her. Almost a week...

It has been almost a week since I said Goodbye... Last Saturday was probably the second hardest day of my life so far, it was the day that I had to say goodbye to my beautiful Neon of 13 1/2 years. My mind was and has been flooded with so many memories since that day.  I got Neon through the Guide Dog program to raise as a seeing eye dog.  He was special because they had brought him in from NY so that he would become a breeder with the CA program.  I remember the day I received the news that my puppy was here and I was getting a golden!  I arrived at the puppy ceramony Dec. 21, 1997 and fell in love for the first time in my life!!! Neon was only 8 weeks old when I got him.  He went everywhere with me... movies, restaurants, college, etc.. until he was 18 months old at which time I had to return him to the program (and I thought I would never see him again).  I received a call from the school about 6 months later letting me know that they were releasing Neon from the program because of
