Big 5!

I can't believe our youngest is 5!!!  Wasn't it just yesterday that I was calling Wayne at the station at 2am to tell him I needed him to come home and drive me to the hospital?!  Cody, you have brought us so much joy!  You have the best personality!  You make me laugh all the time with your crazy outfits and outlook on life.  Your ability to recite different songs, movies, etc... blows us away!  We love you bugs!  We decided to celebrate Cody for a full weekend, because you only turn 5 once!  We started out spending the night, with my mom and John, at a local hotel (which we've decided to do every year as our tradition for Cody's birthday) then Sunday we had all of Wayne's family over to swim and have a bbq.  We finished off the birthday celebration on Monday, Cody's actual birthday, with my dad going to dinner and bowling.  It was a great time and Cody loved having everyone around!! mini Star Wars cupcakes my m...

We took the boys to the Arizona Science Center last week and had a great family day together.  The boys were able to interact with most of the exhibits.  We also thought it was pretty neat to sit in the Planetarium and learn more about the planets because Cole had a science project due on Neptune.  I didn't end up taking to many pictures as we were interacting but here are a few of our favorites.  When we asked the boys which was their favorite they said the show we watched on Volcanoes.  :) First up was the Human body.... Do you know where all these organs go?!  Exhibit on light.  They had a lot of fun dancing behind this screen. LOL One of my favorites was a whole room on how to build a house!  I sat and designed a floor plan before the boys came along and kicked me out.  Hahaha We went to two different shows in the Planetarium.  One was on our whole Solar System, it was pretty interesting....

Holidays

Wow I can't believe the Holidays have already come and gone and we've started a New Year~ Our December was very busy!  We went to several different light shows and Christmas musicals, which were all fabulous!!  This year was a little different in the fact that we spent Christmas Eve and day without my mom & step-dad as they went up to MT.  My dad however was here so it was the first year we have celebrated Christmas with him so close to the date and not a few weeks later. :)  Christmas day was spent with Wayne's family as is our tradition and it felt nice not to be rushed to get there.  We just wished it would have been cooler than 80!! Our lack of normal traditions didn't stop there, the day after Christmas we did not head up to CO like usual... We chose to stay closer to home and rented a cabin in Flag for a few days.  We were really bummed there was no snow this year! :(  But since we were sick I guess it didn't matter to much because w...
