Melton Memories

 Last Sunday we were trying to decide what we would like to do together since Wayne was home.  We remembered that we had gotten a groupon for the Phx. Children's Museum so we thought we'd give it a try.  The last time we were there was right after Cody was born, so obviously he did not participate.  He had a blast this time with Cole!!! Climbing around in the 3 story wire house.   Cody's face tells all the excitement!! Look proof that mommy attends things too.  LOL Sand light.  He really enjoyed this! Ok, so I have been trying to post all these photos for weeks with no luck.... (I recently upgraded to Windows 10 which is cool and all but apparently my computer liked itself better the old way).  I finally figured out that by starting up the internet with a different browser my blog decided it would allow my photos to upload.  You would think this day in age all these programs would talk to each other! LOL Here are a few photos from our latest trip to Durango. The drive up.  Rooger did wonderful!  He slept on the floor in the backseat.  The boys were good as well watching movies! Rooger LOVED playing fetch down the driveway every day! Downtown by the train station Since it was raining on Saturday we thought we would go for a drive to Silverton... It stopped raining as soon as we got to town and hours later as we started our trek home it started raining again.  We had the perfect day!! Watching the train getting ready to head...

With the days being so hot this summer, many records broken, we have been in the pool almost every night!  It has been so fun to see the confidence grow in Cole... He started out nervous about the water when we started going in the pool in June (see he is not as big a fan of water just like his mom) but now he swims like a fish, jumps off the ledge and asks to go in the pool all the time!  He still has floaties because he thinks he can't swim without them, but Wayne and I know different... See we have been deflating them little by little (although Cole does notice this, you can't pull anything over on this child) he has tried several times to swim without them at our insistence and he does great!! Cody on the other hand has absolutely no fear and never has!!  This child was born for water just like his dad.  From day one he was jumping into the pool!  It's a good thing we still have a few months left to use the pool! :)     ...

We went for our annual Oceanside California trip but this year we changed it up a little bit.  We spent the first half of the week with Wayne's family then on Thursday met up with my dad in San Diego. We all had a great time!! Wish we could have spent more time there!   Boys riding out to the beach as soon as we arrived.
